RURAL ATMOSPHERES

 

To compliment Rustic Chrome, Ginos new Rural Atmospheres series of paintings also feature rural settings but have big dramatic skies. Images created represent his personal way of seeing everyday objects in spacial scenes such as barns, farmers fields and skies in a surrealistic manner. The aim is to reflect a particular mood, feeling or atmosphere in each. The artwork created by Gino is based on his emotional observation of the subject matter and then interpreted in a realistic and surrealistic manner. Within his brushwork, composition, draftsmanship and the capture of light; colour; value; tone; and texture, combined with how shapes, details and areas of simplicity relate to each other, mirrors how similar attributes come together in sound to create a soulful piece of music.
